Well as promised Michelle, here is my latest Chinese Watercolour Masterpiece...I love it!

My First Commission

Well I never thought all those months ago when I was inspired to create my own mosaic ball just how popular they would become. The photos are of my original and my latest crystal ball piece, which my wonder art teacher Doris, from The Rainforest Gallery here in Brunei, asked me to make for her, and I've got another 3 on order so watch this space...I think I am going to be a very busy girl for the next few months!!!!

These were definitely made with an enormous amount of love... px

Made with Love px

When I started this blog I thought it would all be about my love of art, however as I am a busy girl with my studies as well as trying to get all my crafty projects squeezed in, my poor blog gets lonely and has been a little neglected. So I started to think whilst enjoying a lovely coconut milkshake the other afternoon how when I create something a little piece of me is embedded within my work, hence 'Handmade with Love px' and if you knew how long I waited for my lovely milkshake you would understand my surprise and delight when it finally arrived and I realised that lots of things are made with love and I decided to incorporate this into my blog!

So here is my gorgeous and long awaited coconut milkshake...

I hope to find something every day that has been made with love and share the beauty and creativity of others with you.

You could taste the love px

Competition

A beautiful Monday morning in Brunei and I wanted to add another picture taken yesterday at the Rainforest Gallery... My friend Ciara, age 4 also had her first exhibition yesterday and I took a gorgeous photo of her looking very proud next to her entry!

Well Done Ciara, it's a beautiful picture of a Giraffe!

Brunei Animal Shelter Charity Bazaar cont...

Well today was another great day for the Rainforest Gallery, the Brunei Animal Shelter and also for me! Here are a few pictures to show you how our weekend has been... and not to forget my first public appearance as an artist, follow the link here

Today was a day for firsts! I sold my very first painting today, my Chinese Watercolour - Oriole Bird. My beautiful yellow bird has gone to a very good home and I hope they enjoy seeing him everyday! My mosaic bowls and balls are also a great hit so it looks like I am going to be a very busy girl over the next few weeks, which is great news for the Animal Shelter who will be receiving a further donation from me from any orders that were placed with me over the weekend.

If you came to say hello today I would like to say thank you to all the wonderful supporters in Brunei, you are amazing!!!! I had such a great time chatting with lots of other crafty minded people, gave lots of tips on making your own cards and also got lots back in return. Handmade with Love Px
